AutoCAD Drafter/Designer Job at Acloche-Delaware in Delaware

Designer/Detailer/Drafter will be responsible for creating Production Design graphics, preparing detailed shop drawings, die tooling files, AccuBend files, router files and plotter files. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of sign manufacturing from a Production standpoint. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can operate effectively as a team player, while performing independently in a deadline driven environment.

First Shift- Monday to Friday 7am-3:30pm $20

Duties and Responsibilities of AutoCAD designer

• Create Bill of Materials
• Create Cut Files for Router/CNC Programming
• Create CAD drawings and artwork for the shop floor by using programs like Corel Draw and AutoCAD (drafting skills)
• Custom detailing includes channel letter design, concept design, layout of graphics, populating LED drawings, door skin variation)
• SolidWorks, or Autodesk Inventor
• Work with Purchasing on various materials and sizes available for purchase
• Order items from internal and external sources when needed
• Learn all production floor machines
• Be able to set up programs when needed
• Familiarity with other machines (brake, sheers)
• Be able to create and follow SOPs
• Must be able to create and understand electrical layouts
• Send finished documents to be scheduling to be released for production
• Program machines (stripped) punch press machine
• Other duties as assigned

It will be beneficial to have experience with the following: FlexiSign, Enroute, CNC G-code, Excel, 3-D Design and programing.
