What You Will Do

  • Work with the Brand Manager to achieve community goals and creative direction. Please note, you won’t fully own the tasks below! You’ll be able to lean on the team for help with your work. 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute beats, relay messages to the dev team, and ensure optimal player communications. 
  • Develop, create, and post original content across social media platforms, ensuring alignment with overall brand goals and planning around key marketing beats. 
  • Oversee day-to-day management of organic social media channels, Steam, and Discord. 
  • Assist with playtesting, collating, and presenting feedback.
  • Work closely with QA and other internal teams regarding player feedback and customer service.
  • Serve as an advocate for the community to our developer team and able to gather and analyze community feedback from multiple platforms. Proficiency in translating feedback into actionable insights for development and content teams.
  • Collect and monitor organic analytics across platforms and provide actionable insights for the team.


What We’re Looking For


  • 3+ years of marketing or community experience in video games.
  • 3-5 years of total professional experience in gaming.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and copywriting skills.
  • Experience creating gaming social media content across platforms, such as short-form video (Tiktok/Reels), long-form video (YouTube), GIFs, memes, graphics, etc. and growing social channels.
  • Hands-on experience building and managing large online gaming communities, particularly on Discord, Steam, and Reddit. Strong moderation skills and experience creating and managing bots to keep communities healthy and engaging.
  • A deep passion for video games and an understanding of the gaming community's needs, culture, and trends.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure, manage crises, and react quickly to community issues. 
  • Experience of creating and managing gaming influencer campaigns.
