Overview

Salem Media Group - Orange County, offers an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic Part-time Marketing Assistant in our beautiful OC offices. You will be supporting the sales manager and our growing advertising team! Hours would be M-F 8:30 am - 3:00 pm.

Responsibilities

  • Help out with sponsorship proposals and recaps.
  • Handle general admin tasks: typing, filing, emailing, and answering phones.
  • Keep Media Strategists' contacts and calendars organized.
  • Assist with writing and revising orders for Media Strategists.
  • Manage the in-house deal website.
  • Keep track of client lists and leads for reporting.
  • Communicate professionally with clients and offer solutions.
  • Juggle tight deadlines and diverse needs with a keen eye for detail.
  • Generate contract confirmations and invoices as needed.
  • Send out spot times when clients request them.
  • Create reports in Wide Orbit for management, like billing and client aging.
  • Help the Account Credit Manager with recording and depositing checks.
  • Distribute contracts to Media Strategists promptly.
  • Join and contribute to weekly sales meetings.
  • Prepare and proofread sales presentations and documents.
  • Create Sales Packages, Media Kits, and One Sheets.
Qualifications
  • Strong skills in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Super detail-oriented.
  • Great communication skills-both written and verbal.
  • A 4-year college degree is preferred.
  • Radio experience is a bonus

Compensation

$19.00 - $24.00 per hour
