elite | studio e is hiring: Foodservice Project Designer in Farmingdale

We’re a creative foodservice design/build studio focusing on hospitality venues, corporate cafes and dining rooms, coffee bars, commercial kitchens and similar concepts.

elite|studio e is hiring a Foodservice Designer that is focused on technical design and documentation, has a desire for professional development and can think in 3D. He/she should be a team player who enjoys working in a dynamic, collaborative thinking environment. In addition, our ideal candidate will have a knowledge architectural design and experience with the creation of construction documents.

Vice President, Project Solutions

Duties:
Our Foodservice Designers juggle multiple projects with fast-paced deadlines and are responsible for creating design and construction document drawing tasks, and performing site visits to survey spaces. He/she will deliver comprehensive, high-quality drawings and specifications through the use of Revit, AutoCAD, KCL and AutoQuotes. You’ll need to be able to work in a team setting involving other foodservice designers, team leads, project coordinators and interior designers. Our ideal candidate will need to be proficient in juggling multiple projects with fast-paced deadlines and visualize all aspects of the design. You will be responsible for communicating and coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, and internal team members. Business communications in a professional manner are essential.

• Proficient in Revit & Autodesk AutoCAD
• Proficient in MS Office
• Ability to work in a group environment and independently
• Ability to design and maintain a project from concept through construction in a technical sense
• Attention to detail and quality of work
• Knowledge of KCL and AutoQuotes are preferred, but not required

Education:

A four-year degree in architecture or drafting and design is preferred, but if you have solid experience, lots of energy and a desire to take on new challenges don’t hesitate to apply.
