POSITION PROFILE.

Current Global is seeking a Director, Integrated Media Strategy with expertise in cross channel communications. A forward thinker with an integrated media mindset, the Director will work across a variety of clients to support the develop of earned-led strategies designed to drive cultural relevance and brand love for our clients. This role will also require leading integrated media strategy and developing creative earned-led ideas for new business proposals.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES.
  • Responsible for integrated media strategy and planning for existing clients and new business.
  • Employs an "audience-first" mindset with the ability to understand the role of and provide counsel at the intersection of earned media, influencer and owned social media strategies.
  • Collaborate with strategy + creative on idea conception and higher-level tactical plans.
  • Design activation choreography for cross channel assignments.
  • Identify how brands can show up authentically in-culture and where our audience is consuming news, content and how they are engaging with brands.
  • Serve as an internal and client thought leader on the trends impacting the state of earned and the role of social + influencer in the modern media landscape
  • Provide proactive and reactive counsel on platform updates and channel best practices.
  • Lead the day to day, overseeing and executing upon influencer + social projects tapping earned media specialists as needed.
  • Partner with strategy to shape measurement and results reporting of integrated campaigns.
  • Responsible for partnership with CX to identify and act upon new growth opportunities based on insights into the company, client, and industry.
  • Train and develop colleagues across the agency on integrated media planning.

QUALIFICTIONS.
  • 7+ years of experience, preferably with some agency experience.
  • Consumer media communications expertise (food & bev and/or consumer health a plus)
  • Experience working with integrated teams and working on integrated campaigns.
  • Some experience with issues/crisis management.

NYC Salary range: $100,000 - $130,000

Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
