What you’ll be doing...

As the Communications Officer for the Finance Talent Development team, you offer creative guidance for the Finance organization to build analytical, technical and digital skills. With a future lens, you create communication campaigns, videos, websites and other products that showcase the limitless opportunities to learn, grow and deliver for the business. You are aware that careers connected to purpose create high-performance cultures, so you form solutions to meet employees right where they are on their career journey.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of talent management principles and best practices, as well as experience in adult learning best practices.

  • Analyzing and assessing Finance talent needs to uncover new opportunities for growth and development.

  • Designing end-to-end learning campaigns from scratch, including but not limited to ideation, development, execution strategy, and post-analysis translation.

  • Maintain and further develop Finance Academy, a Finance Talent website, enterprise-wide executive communications, workflow management and other development collateral.

  • Frequently use creativity, deep data analysis and other available resources to evaluate challenges and provide recommendations.

  • Delivering on technical components related to executive program/event management (i.e.: Systems Support, Learning Portal, VZLearn administration - course codes and reporting).

  • Managing competing priorities and distractions with ease, frequently seeking feedback to ensure alignment against the strategic objectives.

  • Promoting a culture of continuous learning through workshops, seminars, and various platforms, encouraging employee participation and engagement.

  • Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to deliver best-in-class solutions.

What we’re looking for...

You have a strong understanding of talent management principles and experience in adult learning best practices. You have a knack for understanding and visualizing just the right way to share content, data and practical insights so people can understand.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant experience required in talent development, learning and development, organizational development, or a related function.

  • High-proficiency in the Adobe Products Suite for design/creation of graphics, video editing and web development fluency.

  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training methodologies.

  • Experience working collaboratively to present ideas and content to a variety of stakeholders.

  • Experience with and high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, as well as the Google affiliates.

  • Program/project management experience.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A Master’s degree.

  • Strong research, analytical, and critical thinking skills with the ability to see things not readily apparent to others to find unique solutions to complex challenges.

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and to "see the big picture".

  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work with minimal supervision, and independently manage concurrent projects to timely completion.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to clearly express complex ideas.

Where you’ll be working

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.
