Job Description
The Part-Time Graphic Designer supports Stetson University College of Law by playing a pivotal role within the Marketing and Communications department, exhibiting exemplary graphic design, print production, and project management skills. Serving as a member of the Communications and Marketing team, the graphic designer works in conjunction with other members of the Stetson Law Communications and Marketing team to create online and print marketing materials in accordance with brand guidelines. In alignment with Stetson's Strategic Priorities, the graphic designer will contribute to a high-performing and relationship-rich culture of inclusive excellence.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Employment duties include, but are not limited to:Utilize graphic design skills to create marketing materials from start to finishCreate and disseminate email through a system similar to MailchimpCreate graphics for social media and digital monitorsAudit the Stetson Law website for design, consistency, accuracy, and brand adherenceCommunicate with department representatives to formulate strategy for designSupport social media efforts and web content manager, as neededRequired Skills
Familiarity with print productionExcellent project management skillsProficiency with Adobe Creative suite, particularly InDesign, Acrobat, and PhotoshopProficiency with Basecamp or similar project management softwareUnderstanding of design specs, digital files, and the print production processSupport the University's Mission and Values in their roleRequired Experience
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, fine arts, marketing, or a related fieldProficiency with Adobe Creative Suite design software and Microsoft Office5-10 years of experience in a creative role, preferably within an advertising agency or similar environment, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in graphic design, art direction, and concept developmentDesire to join a distinct university community committed to inclusive excellence, kindness, and collaboration, as it seeks to move Forward Together in making our community and world a better placeIdeal Candidate Qualifications:

Work Environment:
This is a twenty to twenty five-hour-a-week, hybrid position, with the possibility of fully remote work. Ideal candidate lives in the Tampa Bay, FL area.
