The Marketing Specialist will be part of the energy account services team and will work on planning, development, and implementation of marketing and advertising strategies and communications activities to support our energy efficiency efforts with a utility in NJ. The account services team manages all aspects of marketing to include advertising, strategic planning, research, social media, events, outreach, and partnerships. To implement marketing campaigns, the team works with a 150-person creative and paid media services group. We help our clients and communities use less energy, save money, and help the environment through the development, implementation and refinement of marketing and outreach initiatives. We are looking for someone who is as passionate about our work as we are and has the skills and attitude to be successful. The right candidate should be a marketing generalist who knows how to work with experts, including paid media and creative teams to achieve our goals. This position will be based in NJ, but will be a work-from-home position. Minimal local travel is required.

Support day-to-day project management of the planning, development and implementation of marketing, events, and advertising strategies and activities to support energy efficiency efforts with ICF's utility client.Develop and manage strategic event calendar including research and discussion with client.Support event logistics planning process, including project trackers, online-based event management software.Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for event staff.Develop and present reporting and overviews for event strategy, plans, and results.Participate in and lead calls on a weekly basis with event subcontractors, partners, and clients.What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):
A bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, or related majors. (or applicants can substitute one year of related experience for one year of education)2+ years of experience working in marketing or advertising managing accounts and/or projects or related work experienceProfessional Skills:
Strong attention to accuracy; detail oriented.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to effectively prioritize tasks to meet aggressive deadlines.Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.Strong motivation and ability to learn and understand new concepts and strategies.Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Demonstrated ability to work virtually including screen shares, video calls, and online collaboration.Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).Knowledge of client management, marketing, creative development and social media environments.What we would like you to have:
Experience working in a fast paced, deadline driven, multi-tasked environment.Experience working with and developing Excel spreadsheets to interpret data.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.Event planning experience preferred.

Pay Range
- There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:$54,397.00 - $92,475.00
