Position Summary:
FYI is seeking a proactive, creative, and detail-oriented
Part-Time
Junior Marketing Intern
to support the development and execution of FYI's marketing communications. This entry-level role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing within the government contracting industry at an INC 5000 rapidly growing company. You will work closely with FYI's President and collaborate across departments to help elevate FYI's brand, drive engagement, and assist with proposals and marketing initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design marketing collateral/visuals for proposals, presentations, and marketing initiatives.
Oversee FYI's social media presence, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Schedule posts, develop compelling content, engage with followers, and track performance.
Work closely with all departments to ensure FYI's brand voice and visual identity are consistently maintained across all communications and materials.
Categorize, label, and store all marketing assets, including documents, presentations, graphics, and other media, within the SharePoint platform, ensuring that files are easily accessible, logically structured, and consistently updated for team use.
Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to explore new strategies to enhance candidate engagement.
Assist in planning and promoting future FYI events.
Desired Skills and Qualities:
Exceptional written and visual communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling messages.
A basic understanding of marketing principles, including content marketing and branding.
Ability to think outside the box and come up with innovative ideas to support proposals and marketing campaigns.
Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities to resolve challenges as they arise.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with graphic design software (Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign is desired)
Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build strong working relationships.
A motivated, proactive individual who takes initiative and requires minimal supervision to succeed.
