Communication AnalystWashington, DCPay From: $100,000 per year
MUST:Experienced Communication AnalystActive Top Secret clearance required8+ years of experience, including 6 years of specialized experience in the information systems fieldAbility to interface with technical staff and end-users to understand functional requirements to develop processes and procedures.Ability to write for technical and nontechnical audiences.Microsoft Office and Visio mandatoryBachelors Degree required
DUTIES:Perform stakeholder analyses to develop a deep understanding of cybersecurity program stakeholders and construct audience profiles to inform stakeholder engagement, strategic communications, and enterprise risk managementAnalyze existing processes, applying government and industry best practices where practicable to recommend improvements to gain efficiencies in cybersecurity program communicationsSupport cybersecurity program goals by drafting content and communication materials (including but not limited to documentation for program initiatives, newsletters, articles, presentations, and educational content) to achieve program-tailored behavioral objectivesRecommend production schedules that accommodate technical experts, organizational deadlines, and requirements for enterprise communications and design personnel to create digital media, newsletters, and other creative productsPerform analysis to measure progress toward accomplishing communications goals and propose recommendations for the development and enhancement of communication goals and strategies consistent with cybersecurity program prioritiesCoordinates work activities and writes and edits highly complex technical information technology-related documents, including presentations, manuals, reports, and specificationsCreates, develops, plans, writes, and edits highly complex technical documents for publicationEdits documentation for style, clarity, consistency, and adherence to customer guidelinesSupports digital marketing promotion and communication effortsResearch highly complex technical conceptsCreates new technical documents that are complex in nature. Conduct interviews with various technical staff to gather data for documentationWrites and edits policies, procedures, workflows, manualsMay lead large production efforts. Evaluate and provide feedback on draft documents and attend documentation reviewsAssist in the coordination of enterprise cybersecurity trainings.
