Position: Communication Services Representative
Start Date: January 6, 2025
Location: This position is Onsite, Water Street, NY 10004
Rate of Pay: $18.00/hr. (Bilingual)

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer enrollment services calls and respond to client inquiries.
• Provide information and resources to clients, including mailings and referrals.
• Educate clients on managed care options and assist in selecting health plans.
• Review and process enrollment/disenrollment forms.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on New York Project services.
• Raise concerns to the Central Operations Supervisor as needed.
• Handle managed care education, enrollment services, and mailroom functions.
• Meet performance standards and work closely with the Call Center Supervisor and management.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Recent call center or customer service experience
• Knowledge of the community to be served.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Preferred: 2 years of human services experience or public-facing roles; fluency in commonly spoken languages.
