Position Summary:
The Visual Merchandiser will work with their General Manager as well as the Visual Merchandising Manager and Head of Retail Visual to create, implement, and execute all merchandising strategy to increase product effectiveness, brand image and sell throughs. The visual merchandiser is the store's storyteller in product merchandising and execution. They drive the customer experience through detailed standards and product impactful imagery.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary Responsibilities:Responsible for the look and feel of the store and all departments.Partners with their General Manager and Visual Merchandising Manager to merchandise store and update displays daily/weekly.Implement and execute all visual merchandising directives communicated from General Manager, Visual Merchandising Manager and/or the Head of Retail VisualsLead any visual trainings/educational moments for store team.Work closely with the stock team to ensure product gets on the floor in a timely manner.Conduct weekly walk-throughs with management to understand and analyze how visual moments can beamended/improved to better impact overall business.Maximize the space and layout of the store based on given SKU managementPartner with General Manager, Visual Merchandising Manager and Head of Retail Visuals to conceptualize new and fresh visual store ideas.Special Projects/Tasks:
Efficiently assist in the execution of any cycle counts, physical inventories or other inventory management task(s) as required by the businessTravel to support other stores, as required by the businessREQUIREMENTS
Experience:
2-3 years management experience in a customer facing role2+ years in a merchandising/visual focused role1+ year experience with Google Suite (slides/docs/sheets), preferred but not required.Skills/Abilities:
Effective and thorough communicatorAbility to multi-task and manage multiple projects at onceEfficient time managerStanding/Walking for prolonged periods of timeLifting or moving up to 30 poundsBending, twisting as well as climbing of ladders and other physical tasks related to standard retail operationsAvailability to work: days, nights, and weekend.
