The CMF (Color/Material/Finish) Designer will work within the design team for the Women's and Men's Go Run division. The CMF Designer's primary role will be to envision, create, and develop rich, seasonal product collections informed by art, music, lifestyle, and sport.

The ideal candidate needs to be a highly organized creative problem solver, who is comfortable working in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment, across multiple product categories and on a multi-season basis. This person will be passionate about elevating the customer experience to deliver brand relevant products with a focus on both the art and science of color and material design from concept to production.

Ability to research and understand evolving style trends to create unique product, while striving to increase learning and deliver positive results will be key for success.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES-

Create best-in-class seasonal storytelling, color direction, and material development aligned with marketplace trends, consumer target, and seasonal business strategy. Collaborates on a daily basis with a team of multi-disciplinary footwear, color, and material designers. Delivers on-time breakthrough design solutions aligned with Skecher's multi-season design and go to market dates and gates. Partner with Product Line Management and Product Development in the creation of line plans, briefs, and final product solutions aligned with business goals, consumer needs, and brand stories. Deliver on-time product solutions in conjunction with the product calendar and business needs ensuring that all deadlines and deliverables are met. Study and research current and future trends, maintain expert knowledge in global design trends, market competition, and retail landscape. Proficient in the creation of color and material cads to clearly communicate with Asia partners. Partner with developers in US and Asia on line schedules, adhere to the product calendar, ensuring development projects are on track. Periodic travel to Asia to for product development. As needed, partner with Skecher's cross-functional discipline to create quick strike opportunities and special projects as needed. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES-

No JOB REQUIREMENTS-

Strong knowledge and passion for sport, fashion, arts, culture and marketplace trends. Must have a high degree of proficiency with digital design platforms. Experience in the application and use of technical materials and leather in footwear or a related field. High proficiency of Apple systems. Must have great communication skills and work well with others. Must be able to travel domestically and internationally. Ability to work under deadlines, manage multiple priorities, work independently, take initiative, and pay close attention to detail. Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE-

Bachelor's Degree in Art, Industrial, Graphic, Textile, Apparel Design or a related field. Minimum of 2-4 years of CMF design experience in footwear color and materials or related field.

The pay range for this position is $85,000-$100,000.
