Truly Good Foods has sales and distribution offices in Orlando, Atlanta, Washington DC, Reno, Dallas and Charlotte, NC. Our SQF, Kosher and organic production facility in Charlotte roasts nuts & seeds daily and blends over 60 bulk snack mixes. These facilities also package and re-box many of our items to meet our customers’ varied needs. Charlotte is our corporate headquarters, and is home to purchasing, accounting, and sales & marketing offices.

Job Summary
 
The Content Marketing Specialist plays a pivotal role in crafting, implementing, and optimizing content strategies that drive engagement, build brand awareness, and generate leads. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical thinking, and strong project management skills to create impactful content that aligns with our business goals and helps us drive our content and design strategy to new heights.

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Strategy
  • Develop a data-driven B2B content marketing strategy that resonates with our target audience, supports our lead generation goals, increases brand awareness, and drives traffic.
  • Create high-quality, visually appealing content including blog posts, whitepapers, infographics, email campaigns, and website copy.
  • Manage content calendars and ensure content remains consistent across all platforms.
  • Support the marketing team in planning and executing seasonal campaigns, product launches, and promotional efforts.
  • Manage new products and discontinued products on online catalog and online ordering portals.
  • Create, design, and manage PowerPoint presentations for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and brand consistency.
  • Conduct keyword research and use SEO best practices to optimize content. Analyze content performance metrics and use data insights to continuously optimize and refine content strategies.
  • Research content and consumer trends to ensure that content is relevant and appealing.
 
Design & Visual Content Production
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and outside agencies to create a consistent marketing design presence through all marketing channels.
  • Develop and design marketing materials for sales enablement, email campaigns, product catalogs, packaging, websites, promotions, and other digital assets using Adobe Creative Suite or other design tools.
  • Create compelling product photography and videos for use in digital campaigns and marketing materials.
  • Design bulk N&I labels and maintain database.
  • Stay current with marketing design trends and recommend new marketing initiatives.

Collaboration
  • Work closely with the marketing team and outside agencies to create content for paid advertising campaigns (PPC, display ads)
  • Collaborate with the sales and product teams to create compelling promotional materials, including brochures, flyers, and point-of-sale assets.
  • Support the development of website content, ensuring SEO best practices are followed to improve organic search rankings. Handle the ordering of business cards and stationery items for the company.
  • Assist in executing comprehensive marketing plans and programs to support the sales and revenue objectives of the organization.
 
Branding & Storytelling
  • Help build a consistent and recognizable brand voice across all content and channels.
  • Contribute to the development of storytelling strategies that connect emotionally with consumers and elevate TGF’s position in the market.
 
Project Management
  • Manage multiple content and design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality.
  • Work within budget constraints and coordinate with external vendors or freelancers when necessary for specialized design or content tasks.
 
Other

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Scope of Responsibility 
·        This job will have periodic access to confidential data including customer quotes, product costs, and company plans, designs, and programs.
·        This job works under general instruction and is expected to accomplish work assignments with a limited amount of supervision.
·        This job will be responsible for executing tactical and strategic aspects of the marketing plan.
 
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
·        Language Ability:  Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to read and understand English.
·        Math Ability:  Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
·        Reasoning Ability:  Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
·        Computer Skills:  To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite & Adobe Creative Suite.
 
Education and Experience
·        Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in Marketing, Graphic Design or equivalent; or combination of education, training, and experience which provides requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job successfully. 
·        Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
·        Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and content creation abilities.
·        Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
·        Knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization techniques
·        Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
·        Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
·        Strong organizational and project management skills.
·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
·        Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
 
Physical Demands
·        The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.

Travel Required
