The NFL Creative team is seeking an experienced Director of Creative Services with an insatiable passion for our sport and an acute knowledge of our game and the 32 NFL Clubs. Just a stone’s throw from the most advanced sports venue on the planet, So-Fi Stadium–home of the Rams and Chargers.Our world-class creative department acts as an ambassador of the most valuable sports/media brands in the world including the NFL league itself, our NFL tentpole events (Draft, Pro Bowl, Super Bowl, etc.), and our 32 NFL clubs. We eat, sleep and breathe the LIVE football experience, as well as nurture our media brands through the off-season. We uphold the NFL content/media brand portfolio across all linear/digital platforms and products including NFL Network, NFL.com, NFL Apps, NFL social channels, partner platforms, and more. Our entire existence is dedicated to elevating the NFL fan experience through supercharged media, content, storytelling, and community campaigns.The NFL Director, Creative Services reports directly to the Head of Creative and oversees a team of Creative Producers that executes NFL studio shows, games, events, and original content across all media platforms, 365 days a year.Responsibilities Define the production workflow and resource strategy for your specific domain, including budget and resource planning.Build relationships with external departmental stakeholders (Production, Programming, Product, Marketing) to ensure alignment in overall content strategy for NFL Media.Lead & execute projects in partnership with Creative Directors and Art Directors.Serve as both a supervising and hands-on Creative Producer at different points in the calendar, ensuring projects are appropriately budgeted, resourced and time-managed toward delivery.Directly oversee a team of Creative Producers, Associate Producers and Coordinators, while co-supervising teams that may include artists, production assistants and editors.Be an ambassador of quality, consistency and integrity for all visual elements across all owned/operated and partner platforms (representation of brands, logos, players, key art, etc.)Required Qualifications Minimum 10 years of experience as a production leader: Creative Producer, Project Manager or similar.Preferred Education and Experience Previous professional experience in sports mediaWorking knowledge of live broadcast creative workflows and standards, including 2D and 3D animation, post-production, new media, sets, remotes, etc.Bachelor’s Degree in Media Arts, Communications or equivalent education and experienceOther Key Attributes / Characteristics Strong interpersonal communication skillsConfident decision-making instincts that prioritize brand, quality and consistency in a fast-paced environment.A passion for mentorship, inclusion and growthMotivated, detail-oriented and accountable, with the ability to perform in highly collaborative settingsStrategic problem-solving skills and the capacity to distill complex information into meaningful concepts and ideasFlexibility when faced with new information, needs or challengesProven ability to think big by providing clear and practical plans to deliver on team goalsA working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, AE and PremiereFamiliarity with a broad range of digital graphic file formats and their appropriate applicationsBonus: Understanding of the sports media business including sales, sponsorships, ad revenue, partnerships, and direct-to-consumer models.Supervisory Responsibility Manage and provide oversight to other Creative Production team members including Producers, Associate Producers, Coordinators, Designer-Animators or Production Assistants.Travel Potentially required for remote events.Salary / Pay Range This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of salaries or hourly rates that the NFL believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job in the location(s) specified. The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range.
