Job Summary

The Selling Partner Interfaces' Strategic Initiatives team is looking for a talented and passionate UX Designer to join our growing Katal Design System team. Katal is the design system and developer platform used by product teams to build the experiences that allow millions of Sellers, Vendors, and Brands worldwide to manage their business, compete, and grow on Amazon, a critical part of Amazon's business. Our partner teams rely on us to continually raise the bar for design systems at Amazon and amplify their ability to deliver innovative and best-in-class products and experiences for our Selling Partners and other business users. We are looking for a designer to join our team who has a passion for design systems, strong visual and interaction design senses, a customer-obsessed UX toolkit, and a history of applying them at scale. This role is open to remote, preferably near Amazon offices in Seattle, New York, Detroit, San Francisco, Santa Cruz, Phoenix, or Portland.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Identify, create, and optimize design foundations, reusable components, and high-level patterns for the Katal Design System.
• Deliver artifacts that raise the bar for visual and user experience design at Amazon, whether you're working on wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity mockups, or prototypes.
• Partner with a multi-disciplinary product and engineering team to own the implementation of your work.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and other stakeholders across teams and organizations to increase adoption and shape the future of our design system.
• Create and optimize the processes and tools available to our designers, developers, and other consumers to collaborate.
• Improve designer-developer handoff quality and efficiency so that our partner teams can better deliver for our Selling Partners.
• Partner with our Seller Mobile Platform team to create a consistent cross-platform customer and user experience.

Benefits

• Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
