Our websites are viewed by millions of people each year, and we have a small but dedicated team that supports these solutions.The RoleWe are seeking a Web Designer to join our carbonhouse team in Charlotte, NC. This role will craft responsive and accessible websites for the entertainment and sports industries using web design software. This role will create strategic and consistent end-to-end experience for users. This role will influence the design and directions of client projects. This role will work collaboratively with developers to execute design vision. This role will design according to requirements documentation. This role will also follow client brand guidelines and modifies these guidelines when appropriate; meets realistic design deadlines.What Will You Do?Designs according to requirements documentation and brand guidelines.Crafts responsive and accessible websites using web design software.Creates wireframes either using existing internal UI/UX patterns or customized based on client scope.Prepares designs for production.Designs discovery and presentation meetings with client.Works collaboratively with developers to execute design vision.Designs quality control.What Will You Bring? AA/AS Degree (2-year) (BA/BS Degree Preferred) in a creative/web design program or equivalent work experience in a related field/role2-4 years experience designing for digitalExperience with FigmaUnderstanding of typography, color, and layout skillsProficiency in UX DesignUnderstanding of usability principles and web standardsUnderstanding of front-end technologies knowledge - HTML and CSSAbility to quickly prototype new designs and featuresWhat's in it for You?
