Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.In alignment with our Microsoft values, we are committed to cultivating an inclusive work environment for all employees to positively impact our culture every day.ResponsibilitiesWork with multidisciplinary and cross-product teams to deliver beautiful end-to-end, accessible user experiences across multiple experiencesWork as part of an in-house design team, preferably at an enterprise organizationSolve complex problems with simple or intuitive experiencesExcellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present your workWork effectively cross functionally with other teamsThorough understanding of, and proven ability in Figma and Adobe design toolsInvestigate new technologies and keep abreast of modern techniques for building and prototyping applicationsEmbraces code as part of the design process and can adopt computational representationsStay current on design trends, technologies, and tools, and incorporate them into the design team's work as appropriateEmbody our Culture (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/about/corporate-values) and Values (https://careers.microsoft.com/us/en/culture)QualificationsRequired/Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 3+ years experience working in product or service designOR equivalent experience (e.g., demonstrated experience working in product or service design or using design thinking to solve problems).Preferred QualificationsExperience with generative AI and large language models (LLMs) and seamlessly integrating them into the UX of existing product experiences.1+ years experience shipping products, services, or games and/or delivering to customers as a result of an end-to-end design process.1+ years technical engineering experience and familiar with HTML, CSS, Javascript/Typescript, Python and comfortable with React and/or Web ComponentsVisual Design skillsProduct Design IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
