Do you have experience leveraging your expertise to create intuitive, user-friendly web pages? Imagine yourself working on top-level, critical mission sets alongside other seasoned professionals. Parsons is now hiring a Web Designer (Full Stack) with a passion for innovation and solving mission critical challenges to support our mission partner in INDOPACOM.
Specific Responsibilities:
Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and customers to develop a modern and accessible web-based user interface for a queryable data platform.
Create a user interface using front-end code to interface with back-end code. Give expert design advice on projects
Conduct layout adjustments, build new functionality, and identify/troubleshoot UI/UX problems
Required Education/Experience:
Experience developing stunning and appealing web user interfaces (CSS, HTML).
Experience with front end JS frameworks (ReactJS, VueJS, AngularJS, etc.)
Experience with server-side development (Python, Java, C# etc.)
Experience with relational (Postgres, Mysql) and No-SQL (MongoDB, ElasticSearch, DynamoDB) database development and administration.
5+ years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; will consider experience in lieu of degree
5+ years’ experience working in a multi-skilled team environment collaborating on computer science concepts
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to convey complex, technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner
Valid US Passport
Active DoD Secret security clearance
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience supporting an INDOPACOM or US Army Customer
Previous experience supporting USINDOPACOM intelligence and/or operations
Experience with AI/ML concepts
Experience with Cloud services (AWS preferred)
Minimum Clearance Required to Start:
Secret

Salary Range:
$117,000.00 - $210,600.00
