JOB SUMMARY:
Overall Summary of Function
This position is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the floral warehouse and helping to maintain
the smooth workflow of tactical functions. The Floral Design Assistant will play an integral role in maintaining the
Floral Department’s inventory to ensure proper coding and stock quantities, as well as assisting in the
processing and storing of flowers. Additionally, the role includes responsibilities such as floral design, pick-up,
delivery, set-up, and break down of floral décor, where the individual's reliable driving skills are crucial for the
safe and timely transportation of floral components to event venues or clients' locations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
At Minimum Duties & Responsibilities
● Work daily with Floral Design Manager to conceptualize, plan and execute floral design elements for mass-
production with great attention to detail and style.
● Responsible for cataloging and organizing floral warehouse inventory
● Assists Floral Team with processing and storing of fresh flowers
● Assists with the coordination of multiple set-ups and tear-downs of floral décor
● Safely transport a range of flowers, foliage, and potted plants to event venues or clients' locations, utilizing your
reliable driving skills to ensure their safe and secure arrival
● Ensure that all floral arrangements are securely packaged and protected during transit to maintain their integrity.
● Install floral arrangements in accordance with design plans, ensuring they are securely positioned and visually
appealing.
● Safely pack and transport any reusable materials back to the warehouse or storage area.
● Dispose of any waste or perishable materials in an environmentally responsible manner.
● Assists with the maintenance and cleanliness of the floral vehicles
● Responsible for updating the inventory system with proper codes, images and stock quantities
● Performs regular audits of floral products
● Reviews production worksheets boards to identify items that need to be packed, transported and set
● Works with Floral Design Manager to schedule necessary labor and shifts
● Assists in the coordination of floral warehouse staff for successful production, shipping, receiving and inventory
duties/assignments
● Complies with Blueprint Studios Health and Safety policies and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS:
At Minimum Training, Education & Experience
● GED or High School Diploma
● 1 – 2 years’ experience working in a warehouse or floral environment
● Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
● Basic computer skills, i.e. e-mail, data entry, etc.
● Familiarity with Microsoft Office
● Capable of working safely and efficiently with a fast-paced environment
● Ability to maintain a neat, organized and safe work environment
● Ability to safely lift, pack and move objects that weigh up to 50 lbs.
● Strong understanding of how to pack and unpack items without causing damage
● The employee must be able to drive 20 ft. floral cargo van

● The temperature will vary from hot to cold depending on the weather
Note - The position requires the ability to operate a company vehicle for work-related purposes. Therefore,

Note - The position requires driving skills as a crucial aspect of the role, in addition to emphasizing safety during pre-production, installation, strike, and post-event activities.
