Job Description – Marketing Manager

Job Summary:

Melink Solar, a leading commercial solar EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) company specializing in designing and building solar arrays, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to join our growing team.

The Marketing Manager will play a key role in developing and executing marketing strategies to promote our commercial solar EPC services to potential clients, partners, and stakeholders. This position will be responsible for increasing brand awareness, generating leads, and positioning the company as a leader in the solar energy industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B marketing, renewable energy, and a passion for sustainability.

This position will report to the CEO of Melink Solar.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies to drive demand for our commercial solar EPC services. Align marketing efforts with sales goals and overall business objectives. Craft compelling messaging that clearly communicates Melink Solar’s unique value proposition to potential clients, emphasizing the benefits of solar energy, cost savings, and sustainability. Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and communications. Drive lead generation efforts through targeted campaigns, digital marketing, email marketing, SEO/SEM, social media, and content marketing. Optimize lead nurturing processes to convert prospects into customers. Oversee the creation of high-quality content, including case studies, white papers, blog posts, press releases, website copy, and sales collateral, to support sales efforts and establish thought leadership in the solar industry. Manage and optimize digital marketing channels, including the company website, social media platforms, and online advertising. Use analytics tools to track performance, identify trends, and improve campaign effectiveness. Plan and execute marketing initiatives around industry conferences, trade shows, webinars, and other events to increase brand visibility, generate leads, and foster business development opportunities. Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies and identify new business opportunities. Work closely with the sales team to ensure alignment between marketing and sales efforts. Lead and mentor junior marketing staff, as well as collaborate with external agencies or vendors when necessary. Manage CRM tools and customer databases to track interactions, segment audiences, and develop targeted marketing campaigns. Research and translate complex subject matter to produce content for fact sheets, brochures, articles, newsletters, digital signage, and other internal or external communications. Oversee editorial strategy, channel optimization, analytics, brand consistency, and KPI measurements. Develop an annual strategic marketing plan that supports Melink Solar’s overall business goals and objectives. Prepare and manage marketing budgets. Create scalable and focused content to help drive revenue and create brand awareness. Planning and coordinating all aspects of trade show participation, including booth selection/registration, ensuring that booth, displays, and collateral materials are shipped to event, co-ordinate audio visual equipment as needed, correct literature and samples are being shipped, coordinating staffing of booth, schedules for booth staff and event to ensure everything runs smoothly. Assist sales team in active lead generation. Any other job duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities:

Clear and effective communication during interactions with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure everyone is on the same page and project objectives are met. Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, compelling content for diverse audiences. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Proficient in using marketing software and tools (e.g., HubSpot, Google Analytics, social media platforms, CRM systems). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Creative thinker with a passion for renewable energy and sustainability. Proficient with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word. Strong organizational, follow-through, interpersonal, and communication and team building skills. High degree of professionalism and strong work ethic. Ability to effectively multitask while analyzing and solving problems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree (BA) in a related field from a four-year college or university.

MBA or advanced degree preferred. At least 4 years of experience in marketing, with a strong focus on B2B marketing in the renewable energy, commercial construction, or engineering sectors. Experience in solar energy or sustainability-related industries is highly desirable. Experience working in CRM platform software, Hubspot preferred.
