PR and Communications Lead

Raptive is seeking an experienced, hands-on communications professional to join our team as the PR and Communications Lead. This highly strategic role will be focused on driving Raptive’s story across all of our audiences with the end goal of increasing awareness, affinity, consideration and adoption. This person will come with knowledge of the creator economy, the digital advertising ecosystem and the media industry, bringing deep experience in both media relations and storytelling. In this role, you will help drive and shape Raptive’s narrative, you’ll love to pitch and have a track record of identifying opportunities and securing press stories.

What you’ll be doing:
Collaborate with leaders to shape and promote Raptive’s message and initiatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets.
Create and implement a strategy for executive visibility, including securing speaking engagements, awards, and thought leadership opportunities.
Produce clear, engaging materials that convey Raptive’s message, such as press releases, media Q&As, bylines, and award entries.
Gather compelling stories from creators, advertisers, and internal teams to support product and campaign launches and promote Raptive’s overall narrative.
Monitor industry trends and identify media opportunities or potential risks related to our messaging.
The skills and experience you bring to the job:
8+ years experience in public relations and communications; 4 years in a communications role focused on digital advertising, creator economy, and media preferred
Extensive knowledge of and experience working with advertising trade, tech, and business media, with marketing and creator economy experience a strong plus
Ability to uncover stories and use data and insights in compelling ways to further storytelling
Creative, self-starter with the ability to work independently to develop a strategy and execute it successfully
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to contextualize and prioritize a high volume of information while managing competing deadlines from internal and external stakeholders
Work closely and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across the organization
Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities while acting nimbly to support emerging trends and opportunities

The range provided is Raptive’s reasonable estimate of the annualized base compensation for this role.
