We are seeking a Kitchen or Bath design expert to be a Kitchen & Bath Designer/Project Specialist for our KIBA Studios Division!  As a project specialist, you will review KIBA customer leads that are submitted online by assessing each lead and contacting those that meet minimum requirements within 24 hours to pre-qualify all new projects in preparation for design.  The Project Specialist will utilize 2020 software to design, price, and present a project to the KIBA online customer or in-store team within 48 hours of the initial online submission.

Our Kitchen & Bath Designer/Project Specialist will:
 
  • Manage all web-based project leads. Evaluate each lead for project viability to determine next steps.
  • Archive non-viable leads and begin the new project process of good leads within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Complete a Pre-Qualify of all new projects by connecting with online customers over the phone, through email, or web chats to determine the specific requirements of each project and guide the customer through the online process. 
  • Review new projects pre-qualified in the CRM system in preparation to begin the design phase.
  • Develop designs for online or in-store projects by creating layouts in 2020 to fit requirements as documented in the pre-qualify phase.
  • Complete design quotes by pricing all cabinet projects in 2020 and prepare project designs for presentation by completing a presentation packet for in-store or online presentation.
  • Communicate with the online customers over the phone, through email, or web chats to review presentation packet as well as with in-store Project Coordinator/Designer for customer in store presentation.
  • Maintain all product catalogs in 2020 and supporting systems.

Do our requirements match YOUR background?
  • Associate degree in Interior Design; Bachelor’s is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ professional kitchen and/or bath design and sales experience.
  • 3 years’ experience using 2020 design software and managing multiple design projects at once, while keeping accurate records.
  • Experience with customer relationship management systems is preferred.
  • Must be capable of maintaining updates to the 2020 software application and all vendor catalogs and pricing.
  • Must also have excellent computer skills in 2020, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point and the ability to adhere to strict timelines while collaborating with internal and external teams.
