About the Position
The Golden State Warriors are looking for Production Motion Graphics Artist to work within the organization's Studio team. In this role, you will contribute to creative motion production, gain valuable experience, and produce first class motion graphics work for the organization. We need a process-oriented, self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and a keen ability to consistently and concurrently prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, innovative environment with tight deadlines. This position reports to the Manager, Motion Graphics. This is an excellent opportunity to share your expertise while learning more about this growing sports and entertainment organization that values your initiative and dedication! This is a full-time position based onsite in San Francisco, CA.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as main point of contact for spec check requests (quality-assuring all our LED screen content) across multiple brand and revenue-driving departments including Warriors/WNBA/Chase Center/Thrive City Brands, Corporate Partnerships, Private Events, and Programming/PromotersMaintain the archive of final LED assets delivered to Scoreboard Operations and update as needed for Corporate Partnerships and/or Private EventsReview, edit and approve multiple interior/exterior LED assets within required lead time for implementation; recommend revisions based on technical details of LEDs and how it can/should appear in situation and based on requestor's objectivesCollaborate with requestors to manage revisions and implement appropriate programming playlist for games and/or events year-roundBecome subject matter expert of our digital boards (interior and exterior) in an effort to manage and update content guidelines with new spec details related to static, motion and video assetsAssist with multiple motion graphics projects and deliver according to established timelinesOther duties as assignedRequired Experience & Skills
Associate or Bachelor's Degree, preferably in motion graphic design, or equivalent work experience1-2 years of motion graphics production experience at an ad agency, design firm, or within an internal creative teamProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator)Experience with efficiently resizing existing motion graphics; ability to understand the needs of requestors, follow directions, and respond positively to feedbackExcellent written and verbal communication, problem solving and presentation skills; impeccable attention to detailHighly organized, with the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environmentAbility to share online creative portfolioTime Commitment
Ability to maintain a flexible schedule as evenings and weekend work shifts may be requiredCompensation
