This position is responsible for supporting the international education mission by ensuring effective communication, branding, and marketing strategies are developed and executed, and for developing creative content for international programs focused on making a positive global impact. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, developing and implementing a cohesive OIA global marketing strategy that incorporates OIA's programs and utilizes an integrated platform approach to target OIA's multiple audiences and address its multi-faceted international outreach goals, while maintaining cohesion with the University's brand and marketing strategies. Essential Job Duties
Learn the basic workings of the office in order to inform content creation to promote the international education mission and vision; Ensure that all promotional material is relevant to international markets, accurate, current, engaging, and culturally sensitive; Create branding that adheres to university standards in all aspects of branding, communication, and marketing for all office areas; Manage/develop social media handles, brochures, newsletters, proposals, and media relations; Develop audience specific communication strategies for engaging prospective, current, and former international students across all platforms; Plan, create, review, revise, approve, implement, and track strategic international marketing content for all facets; Produce and/or coordinate digital and video materials for the office to use in international recruiting, international marketing campaigns, partner promotional purposes, and campus engagement; Develop and launch partner specific international student recruitment media kits; Maintain, update, and/or create web pages in alignment with both the office and UNA's marketing strategies and tactics; Work closely with Enrollment Marketing & Digital Communications to promote important research, awards, honors, and events through digital media channels and/or press releases; Ensure coverage of all office events via social media campaigns, live-streaming, and archival documentation via photos and/or videos; Periodically audit and report on the current state and strategy of digital media accounts, comparing current performance and strategy to peer schools and industry benchmarks; Identify and implement new ways to develop brand awareness and engagement through digital media and promotional items; Communicate with students, alumni, and faculty to arrange takeovers, interviews, quotes, permissions, etc.; Cultivate relationships with prospective and current international students, international alumni, campus community, and the community-at-large; Promote events and programs to develop public interest and participation in international affairs; In consultation with the Vice Provost, develop annual marketing goals and objectives and implement plans to meet such; Facilitate/ensure branding consistency in all international recruitment materials; Oversee the preparation and implementation of public relations and international marketing initiatives; Collaborate with and supervise student graphic designers, videographers, and content creators in the production of digital and/or print materials; Coordinate the purchase and placement of advertisements in digital and print outlets for international marketing initiatives; Design and/or facilitate the purchase, distribution, and inventory of all promotional items; Perform all other duties as assigned. ADDITIONAL DUTIES: Assist with the identification of fundraising ideas/opportunities and craft content proposals; Assist with fundraising event planning and sponsorship coordination as needed. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree is required; Experience in communications strategies is required; Experience in traditional and digital marketing is required. LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, OR REGISTRATIONS: None

Excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills; Ability to create content, proposals, and campaigns based on key ideas and opportunities; Highly collaborative style; Ability to manage a variety of concurrent initiatives; Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit; Ability to be detail oriented and rigorous in assuring communications are current, succinct, and engaging; Knowledge/understanding of social media and search engine analytics.
