We are looking for an Audio Visual Lead Technician for the La Cantera Resort in San Antonio, TX
Job Summary:
This Lead AV Tech is responsible for the daily hotel audio-visual operations. The position requires that all levels of service and standards of operations are met and exceed in the perception of our clients and customers.
Summary of essential job functions
Set up meetings and conferences
Consistently keep track of inventory and ensure orders are completed in a timely fashion
Operate AV equipment with a full understanding of signal flow and equipment specifications
Determine equipment shortages while preparing equipment orders and offer substitutions
Be an example of showing leadership to other AV Technicians by training, showing best practices, and stepping up to back up the Operations Manager, Assistant Director, and/or Director of Event Technology
Keep open lines of communication with management at all times
Follow strict guidelines and a rigid schedule
Maintain contact with the clients to ensure scheduled meetings go smoothly
Provide excellent customer service assistance to all clients
Represent INSPIRE?in a professional manner and follow grooming and attire policies in place
Continue our long-standing respectful relationship with clients and hotel staff
Work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment where input is always appreciated
Protect company equipment as if it were your own and report any damages to respective personnel
Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
Any other duties that are assigned
Minimum Requirements
Must have at least 3 years experience as an audio-visual technician
Must be able to work with little supervision
Strong customer service and overall communication skills
You can lift at least 50 pounds on your own
