As an Assistant Community Manager, you are responsible for assisting the Community Manager with managing the day-to-day operations of your assigned community, exemplifying Carter-Haston's management philosophy based on our Five Basic Fundamentals of Successful Property Management, and maintaining resident accountsResponsible for collecting and posting rent payments and fees; collecting and managing delinquencies; and enforcing policies and procedures outlined in the lease to maximize revenue for the communityAssist in updating and maintaining records for move ins/outs, application status, traffic activity, closing rations, and others as assignedAct as the on-site supervisor in absence of the Community Manager by delegating daily work, coordinating maintenance tasks with the Maintenance Supervisor, and manage the daily operations of the community in compliance with company policies and proceduresAssist with developing and tracking social media campaigns and marketing strategiesConduct prospective community and apartment tours as neededManage the eviction process by following preestablished company proceduresParticipate and document property inspections (grounds, common areas, parking lots, move ins/outs, make-readies, annual inspections, etc.)Deliver consistent excellent customer service that yields guest satisfaction through positive ratings and community reviewsPromote resident satisfaction and retention by following established industry standards and company policiesManage the renewal process for current residentsRequirements One to three years of Multi-family Property Management or related field experience in Leasing or Assistant Manager roleProficiency with industry software systems such as Yardi, OneSite, Yieldstar, Knock CRM, the NAA lease agreement, and revenue management systemsStrong leadership and team management skillsExceptional oral and written communication skillsFamiliarity with generally accepted financial principals; budgeting experience; and supervisory experience preferredProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/OneDrive)
