About the role:

Pure imagination! The Global Compliance Communications and Training Team is reinventing what it means to communicate and train stakeholders worldwide. We're dedicated to finding new ways to spread the message of integrity and regulations applicable to the medical device industry (e.g. the anti-kickback statute, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, etc.) in the context of real-life scenarios. Vlogs, podcasts, and commercials are just the beginning of new and exciting ways to connect users around the world. The Communications and Training Senior Manager is responsible for creating the strategic direction and overall design and execution of the Communications and Training team. This includes working with stakeholders globally to align on a worldwide training and communications strategy through our International Community of Practice; creating a US-based Community of Practice; developing new mechanisms to get team member engagement through podcasts, commercials, or compliance champion programs; and creating new communication campaigns to drive awareness.

Your responsibilities will include:

Strategize and drive the execution of a comprehensive communications and training compliance programManage a communication and training team of 3-4 specialists and analystsFoster relationships and partner with team members worldwide to create a global communications and training strategyResponsible for completing scoping, planning, executing and managing projects that support developing or enhancing the Global Compliance communication and training programs that may cross multiple regions, business units, and/or functions with minimal supervision, ensuring performance goals and timelines are metResponsible for the overall creation, execution, and review of innovative and engaging communication and training solutions, resources, and/or tools supporting the Global Compliance strategyProvide strategic direction and oversight to our International Community of Practice and create a similar process in the USStrategize new and innovative ways to communicate and train team members on core compliance topicsEstablish and maintain metrics and reporting to reflect the effectiveness of the communications and training teamEstablish a communication and training framework utilizing AI and new tools to engage our training populationPartner with the acquisition integration teams to successfully integrate BSC policies into newly acquired companiesOversee and drive the development of operating procedures for maintaining key processes supporting ongoing and routine communication and training initiativesMaintain a strong understanding of Boston Scientific's business areas, regions, and/or functions relevant to the compliance program or project initiative and the associated compliance risksFollow established policies and procedures to support BSC's overall business goalsProvide direction and coaching to junior employees by coaching, identifying, and suggesting progressively challenging assignments and assisting in career development planningRequired qualifications:

8+ plus years of experience in compliance or related communication and training experienceBachelor's degree with a focus on communication and trainingStrategic leader who can share the vision of Communications and Training across legal and compliance, building partnerships and networks for alignment and synergiesFocus on people development and talent pipeline- creating opportunities for new team members to learn and specialize in their skillsAbility to develop collaborative partnerships and communicate the strategic value proposition of Global ComplianceStrong project management skills, including the ability to scope, plan, and oversee the execution of cross-functional projects and the ability to organize, execute, and manage multiple prioritiesClear and concise communication, specializing in written communications tailored to audiencesExpert proficiency with eLearning tools and systems, including authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and learning management systems (LMS)Exemplary analytical, critical thinking, and visual graphic skills, as well as demonstrated accuracy and attention to detailHigh energy level and strong work ethic with a commitment to continuous improvement in a dynamic environment that strives to exceed expectations; demonstrated ability/experience in an environment of change and continuous improvementExcellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, including presenting to the senior management levelConfident in handling pressures and deadlines and managing multiple priorities simultaneouslyAble to work with large amounts of data to analyze information while still seeing the "big picture"Results-oriented attitude with a willingness to complete the job and manage time effectivelyIntegrity and sound judgmentPassion for legal compliance and ethicsCommitment to compliance, ethics, and accountabilityPreferred qualifications:
