We are seeking experienced
Extrusion Operators
with blown film expertise to join our clients team across various shifts. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring extrusion equipment to produce high-quality films. Operators play a critical role in maintaining product consistency, meeting production goals, and ensuring the proper functionality of machinery.
Available Shifts1st Shift : Sunday - Tuesday (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM) and Wednesday (6:00 AM - 12:00 PM)2nd Shift : Sunday - Wednesday (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) and Thursday (12:00 AM - 6:00 AM)3rd Shift : Wednesday (12:00 PM - 6:00 PM) and Thursday - Saturday (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM)4th Shift : Wednesday night/Thursday morning (12:00 AM - 6:00 AM) and Thursday - Saturday (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate blown film extrusion machines and auxiliary equipment to meet customer specifications.Monitor machine operations, including temperatures, pressures, and gauges, to ensure proper functionality and detect malfunctions.Adjust machine controls, resin feed rates, and cooling systems to maintain consistent film thickness, width, and quality.Load raw materials into extrusion machines, accurately weighing and preparing resin blends as needed.Inspect and measure film products to ensure dimensional accuracy, tensile strength, and surface quality, making corrections when necessary.Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning dies, replacing filters, and maintaining extruder and cooling equipment.Document production parameters, machine performance, and any operational issues following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).RequirementsOperation Monitoring: Ability to observe gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure consistent extrusion performance.Equipment Operations: Proficiency in operating and adjusting extrusion machinery and auxiliary equipment.Problem Detection: Capability to recognize and troubleshoot issues such as inconsistent film quality or machine malfunctions.Understanding of material properties and the extrusion process to achieve optimal results.CompensationCompetitive pay based on experience. (Salary ranges $47,840 - $56,160 year)Growth within the company.
