Job Summary:
WSS is seeking a hyper-organized and proactive Creative Project Lead to join its internal creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the development, workflow, and execution of creative projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and with maximum impact. You will act as the bridge between cross-functional stakeholders and the creative team, overseeing projects from concept to execution, with a focus on maintaining efficient processes and timely delivery.
The ideal candidate excels in organization, communication, and collaboration. You have a deep understanding of creative workflows and can accurately plan and allocate resources. Additionally, you will identify inefficiencies in current processes and develop innovative solutions to streamline workflows, ensuring that the department operates with best-in-class workstreams. Project Coordinator:
Oversee multiple creative projects & workflows, ensuring they are executed on time, within scope, and meet business goals. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements. Track project progress through project management tools and make necessary adjustments to ensure timelines are met.
Creative Process:
Collaborate with the creative and cross-functional teams including marketing, merchandising, e-comm, digital, social, and agency partners to ensure seamless project execution from start to finish. Build and implement accurate resource plans based on the understanding of creative workflows, time, and effort needed for various tasks. Maintain and improve the creative process by defining detailed project timelines, outlining key milestones, and setting deadlines. Identify areas of improvement in current processes, develop and implement best-in-class workstreams to ensure optimal efficiency and quality in project delivery. Ensure resourcing is aligned with team availability and project needs and manage multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines.
Collaboration:
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure clarity of expectations and objectives. Foster strong relationships and build trust across internal teams to deliver high-quality creative work. Act as the central point of contact for all project-related communication, facilitating collaboration and problem-solving.
Qualifications:
2 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or Project Manager, preferably leading high-urgency projects within an agency or in-house environment. Proven experience in delivering complex creative projects on time and within scope. Strong proficiency with project management tools such as Asana or similar platforms. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Marketing, Communications, Business, etc.). Ability to adapt quickly to change and feedback; proactive problem-solver. Excellent communication, time management, and prioritization skills. Strong organizational capabilities with a meticulous attention to detail. Collaborative team player with a goal-oriented mindset.
Technical desired skills: Expert in project management software: i.e. Asana, Basecamp, Smartsheets. Fluent in Adobe CS: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat. Keynote and MS Office: Powerpoint, Word, and Excel. Knowledge in print/pre-press, e-comm, digital, and production process.
