The Technical Designer will manage the specs and construction of the product from conception to production. They will work closely with the production team to assure that quality standards, fit and specs are met during the sampling and bulk process. They will collaborate and develop close working relationships with design, production, and vendors to ensure the quality, delivery and business practices are achieved and upheld. They will communicate with local and overseas partners to ensure that the fit, quality and construction of the product meets our standards.

Responsibilities:Create and manage tech packs for all styles including specs, tolerances, grading, sketches, how to measure, construction callouts, fit comments & packing instructions.Build and maintain detailed bill of materials to assure product detail is accurate, current and production ready.Maintain and update body blocks, fit studies, wear testing and size charts.Conduct fit sessions, maintain measurement data, manage comments and work with designto achieve product intent.Work closely with pattern makers to create and update patterns, review markers as needed to ensure efficient cutting.Identify potential production and quality issues and make recommendations to ensure brand integrity.Measure and evaluate garments from proto sample through TOP samples, and bulk. Work closely with vendor QC teams to ensure adherence of construction, spec and quality standards.Communicate high quality standards, construction, pattern, and specs to vendors in the development process through to bulk production.Establish quality standards and create clear guidelines and documents such as standards manuals to keep in accordance with Global and National standards and requirements.Review, comment and track progress and approvals for garments from development to Production.Communicate regularly via email or regular calls with vendor partners to ensure timeliness and understanding of garment construction during development and production phases.Foster open communication and a team environment with all teams; receive constructivefeedback professionally.Special projects as needed.

Requirements:• Proficient with Excel/Google sheets• Preferably 5+ years of relevant industry experience in product development and manufacturing.• Extremely organized and self driven.• Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong verbal and written communication skills• This position is in person, in office.
