We’re looking to hire a Social Media Graphic Designer for a financial services client. In this role, you will focus on creating high-quality graphics and interactive designs for LinkedIn campaigns and internal channels. This role involves collaborating with brand, editorial, and communications teams to produce creative assets that adhere to brand guidelines.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for visual storytelling, excels in managing multiple projects, and demonstrates strong verbal and visual communication skills to achieve impactful design outcomes.

This is a 12-month project opportunity to extend and convert to FTE. The role is located in New York City and is a hybrid working 3x/week in the office and 2x/week remotely.

Social Media Graphic Designer Responsibilities:Designing high-quality, innovative creative assets for external initiatives and LinkedIn campaigns.Managing the creative process from concept to execution, including design, development, and implementation.Clearly and concisely presenting creative concepts.Ensuring all designs align with the firm’s branding guidelines and ADA compliance standards.Staying ahead of industry trends and integrating them into creative work while serving as a branding and design thought leader for the team.Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on creative projects.Delivering communication strategies to executives and business partners to drive impactful outcomes.Supporting a talented communication team in achieving individual and collective goals through the use of new multimedia tools.

Social Media Graphic Designer Requirements:5+ years of design experience in agency or corporate settings.Excellent communication skills, with experience creating presentations and executive summaries.Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop; After Effects, Animate, Character Animator, Premiere Pro is a plus).Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).Strong organizational and project management skills in fast-paced, collaborative environments.Exceptional design expertise in layout, composition, typography, and color usage.Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.Self-motivated and adaptable to tight deadlines and changing priorities.Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field (technology or financial services experience is a plus).Familiarity with multimedia, digital, UX/UI, and responsive design concepts is advantageous.Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Canvas, SVG, WebGL, and motion graphics is a bonus.
