About The Role:
We are a health and wellness-focused startup building AI-powered products designed to help families thrive. As a Senior UX Researcher, you’ll play a foundational role in driving product direction by leading generative and foundational research that unearths key insights into user needs, challenges, and motivations. Being in a 0 to 1 environment, you’ll have the unique opportunity to shape and refine product strategies. What You’ll Get to Do:
Lead foundational and generative research initiatives from concept to execution, driving a deep understanding of user needs and challenges.Conduct a variety of mixed-methods research including diary studies, card sorting, in-depth interviews (IDIs), surveys, and engagement analysis to inform product direction.Use your expertise to design and execute 0 to 1 research projects, delivering actionable insights that shape early-stage product concepts and long-term strategy.Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate research findings into product solutions that align with the company’s vision.Track and measure the success of product launches through quantitative methods like surveys and post-engagement metrics.Leverage your background in health and wellness to ensure our products resonate authentically with families’ needs and aspirations.Be an influential voice in product strategy discussions, advocating for the user’s perspective throughout the product lifecycle.
What You Bring to the Table:
7+ years of experience in UX Research, with at least 1-2 years in a startup environment.Proficiency in mixed-methods research, including quantitative (survey methodologies, product launch impact assessments) and qualitative (diary studies, card sorting, in-depth interviews) approaches.Proven experience conducting user research that directly informs and influences product strategies, ideally with a focus on health and wellness.Ability to work with cross-functional teams, translating complex user needs into clear, actionable insights and product requirements.Experience with AI-powered products, particularly in a B2C setting, a huge advantage.Prior experience with user research on AI-driven features, such as personalized recommendations or intelligent assistance, a huge advantage.Comfortable navigating ambiguous, undefined project spaces and bringing structure to them, aligning research objectives with broad product directives.Adaptable and resourceful, thriving in a dynamic startup environment that often requires rapid iteration and agile approaches.

Grade level and salary ranges are determined primarily through the scope and complexity of the role along with a review of the applicant’s experience and skills, as well as alignment with geographic market data and equity with other team members.
