Position summaryThe Graphic Designer will contribute to the development of new projects, both digital and printed. As a Graphic Designer, you will play a key role in supporting the product development cycle by creating and maintaining sales tools, illustrations, logos, and photos to promote BIOS Lighting and its relevant brands, SkyView, SkyBlue, and Bios Horticulture. If you are passionate about marketing and design, enjoy managing multiple projects, and have an interest in the lighting industry, we are looking for you!
Your main responsibilities will be the following:Working in collaboration with the internal teams to create and maintain all required product collaterals while respecting brand differentiation, strategies, and project timelines (specification and sell sheets, sample bag graphics, brochures, product and web images, infographics, videos, etc.).Analyze the design brief and ensure that all marketing collaterals adhere to brand guidelines.Retouching and creating concept images respecting corporate standards.Developing product illustrations, logos, and documents according to the project plan.Present the various tools to the product development and marketing teams as they become available and apply changes accordingly.Reviewing and ensuring that final graphics and layouts meet the corporate standards and are approved by the marketing team.Responsible for accuracy with artwork packaging.Support various Bios Lighting corporate initiatives by creating visual content, as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Illustration & Design; Graphic Design or Marketing with a focus on Graphic Design.Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position.Excellent knowledge of Adobe CS products, InDesign, Illustrator and Microsoft Office Suite, editing, photography and print production.Knowledge of multimedia design and experience building files for both print and digital.Demonstrate hands-on skills in the latest Adobe Creative Suite.Knowledge of Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premiere Pro for dynamic content, overlays, etc.Knowledge of Figma is an asset.Ability to handle multiple projects and remain flexible through multiple revisions while keeping keen attention to detail.Must be detail oriented and organized.Autonomous, self-motivated and able to work in a fast-pace environment to meet specific deadlines.Application must include a portfolio / work samples to be considered.
