Position Summary: We are seeking a talented and creative Video Cinematographer/Editor to join our Video Team. This role involves both capturing high-quality video content and editing it into polished final products. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for composition, a deep understanding of storytelling, and technical expertise in both cinematography and post-production. Key Responsibilities 1. Cinematography - Plan, storyboard, film, and direct video content, including corporate videos, commercials and social media content. - Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment to capture high-quality footage. - Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to execute the creative vision. - Scout locations and plan productions, ensuring all technical and creative needs are met. - Interact with clients during productions. 2. Video Editing - Edit raw footage into cohesive, engaging video content that aligns with project goals. - Apply visual effects, transitions, color grading and other technical editing as needed. - Sync audio and apply sound design elements, including background music and sound effects. - Create motion graphics, titles, and animations as required. 3. Collaboration and Project Management - Work closely with creative and marketing teams to develop video concepts and scripts. - Manage multiple projects with varying deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality videos. - Maintain organized project files and backups. 4. Quality Assurance - Review and refine video content based on feedback from stakeholders. - Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and meets technical standards for various platforms. Qualifications - Proven experience as a Video Editor, Cinematographer, or similar role. - Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro. - Experience with motion graphics and animation software Adobe After Effects. - Strong understanding of cinematography principles, including lighting, framing, and camera movement. - Familiarity with different camera systems and video formats. - Knowledge of audio recording and editing techniques. - Excellent storytelling and visual communication skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Strong organizational and time management skills. Preferred Skills - Familiarity with drone operation and video capture (with certification, if applicable). Work Environment - This position may require occasional travel and work outside regular business hours, including weekends and evenings, depending on project needs. - Flexibility to work in both on-site and remote environments as necessary.
