Senior UX Designer (e-commerce)

Our tech client, an e-commerce destination, is looking for a Senior Product Designer (UX) for an ongoing contract position. The role is 100% remote. As a Senior Product Designer (UX), you will be a key member of a dynamic product design team supporting web and app-specific initiatives around e-commerce. Responsibilities: Support the end-to-end UX design process for web and mobile e-commerce, from concept ideation to final implementation Utilize your interaction design chops Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions, ensuring a deep understanding of user needs, pain points and behaviors Create wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate your design concepts and solutions Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to ensure the feasibility and successful implementation of design solutions Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and refine designs based on user insights and data Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in mobile and native app design and actively share your knowledge and insights with the team Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices within the organization, fostering a culture of empathy and user advocacy Qualifications: 10 years of product design (UX) experience Extensive experience with interaction design and thorough case studies to present Online portfolio showcasing your visual design and product design skills Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., UX design, human-computer interaction) Proficiency in design tools such as Figma Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies Experience in conducting user research, including interviews, usability testing and surveys Strong knowledge of mobile app design guidelines and best practices for iOS and Android platforms Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts and solutions Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, juggling multiple projects and priorities If you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
