Leading University in Irvine is in need of a Temporary Event Planner. This role is IN OFFICE Monday-Friday. Must be available to work nights and weekends if working on an event. Event planner to assist with small to large scale event planning including fundraising. Looking for someone event-driven with experience in planning/s Must be event-driven with experience in planning/strategy and execution. Someone who is extremely organized - calling venues, looking at budgeting, plans ahead with scheduling dates to send out saves the dates, invites, etc. Length of Assignment: 3 plus months Work Schedule/ Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30pm-5pm in office possible nights and weekends for events Job Function Knowledge: · Hard Skills & Programs- Event planning and marketing knowledge. Marketing more of someone who is creative and will look at the whole picture of event planning with timelines. Education & Certifications. Bachelors' degree Minimum level of relatable experience. 3 yrs What does the ideal candidate look like? Past event planner experience with large scale events and knowledge of marketing. Flexible and fast working with great multi-tasking skills. Higher ed institution experience a plus.
