The Role: We are looking for an experienced Product UX Designer to join our product team and help shape the future of our tools and services. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to explore new ideas, improve existing products, and refine our design systems. You will provide intuitive, delightful experiences to our user base – and your work will be seen daily by millions of developers around the world. What You’ll Do: Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and design peers. Help to refine our visual design strategy, and contribute to the development of internal design systems. Design mockups, interactive prototypes, and user flows. Define and strategize ways to improve our design processes: from creation and optimization of templates, Figma libraries, and other tools to help communicate and deliver a richer User Experience. Research developer problems by organizing and running user interviews, reviewing customer feedback, and researching industry trends and competition to gain a deeper understanding of the goals, pain points, and expectations of our users. What You’ll Bring: 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design – preferably with product design experience. An impressive portfolio that illustrates your design proficiency from concept to completion. Deep understanding of interaction design patterns and systems, a critical eye for typography and layout, ability to use UX writing effectively, and strong user-centered design methods and techniques. Strong understanding of accessibility practices (WCAG, WAI). Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate a problem and proposed solution. Prior experience designing and launching powerful, intuitive products, preferably for developers or a technical audience. Passion for iteration while giving and receiving constructive feedback. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma (preferred), InVision, and Sketch. Experience with HTML & CSS, and an understanding of Git version control. Experience contributing to or working with design systems. Bonus Points: Hands-on experience in front-end development. Design experience specifically for developer tools or products.
