PIXUS TECHNOLOGIES INC. is hiring: Mechanical Designer in Waterloo

We are seeking a Mechanical Designer to become a part of our team! You will prepare detailed working diagrams as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare diagrams and drafts for mechanical components/assemblies
• Perform FAI on new components using measuring instruments
• Aid production during the prototype build phase
• Generate BOMs, work instructions, user manuals
• Coordinate with other colleagues
• Source new components including quotes
• Maintain the CAD library

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in mechanical design for electromechanical systems
• Familiarity with machine designs and diagrams
• Familiarity with 3D CAD (preference will be given to those with Creo experience)
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Preference will be given to those with MIL-STD familiarity
• Self starter
