Join Apple, and help us leave the world better than we found it. Apple’s tvOS Design team is seeking a Visual Designer to work on creating beautiful and intuitive experiences for the big screen. You are a brilliant problem solver, self-starter, and excellent communicator with a passion for great design and the ability to achieve it.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for designing and building elegant experiences for TV and Mobile. Work ranges from concept creation to detailed design specifications. You will work with designers and stakeholders on reimagining and refining how our users will interact with the TV Platform. The position requires deliverables to be provided under tight deadlines and with input from many cross-functional stakeholders. Strong collaboration skills are a must, problem solving, attention to detail, and the ability to cope with rapid change. You will work alongside engineers and QA to shepherd a great final product to our customers' hands. Above all, the role requires a dedicated individual who understands Apple’s high standards and design aesthetic to the core.
Minimum Qualifications
6+ years of work experience with a focus on product design and UI across a variety of platforms like TV, Mobile, web, or others.
Experience in shipping digital products from start to finish including the documentation and development process.
Ability to clearly communicate concepts and designs through prototypes, sketches, high-fidelity comps, and presentations. Highly skilled and fast in any tools you need to visualize your ideas and deliver the work.
Enthusiasm and history working in an iterative design process, motivated by group critique. Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to present work to large groups and executives.

A passion and eye for visual detail in proportion, type, motion, and interaction.
Empathy and understanding of how to advocate for user experience with peer teams like engineering, operations, and business.

Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You’ll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments as well as relocation.
