About the Role

As a Staff Visual Designer on a cross-functional product team focused on Design Systems, you will serve as the creative lead tasked with bringing our brand to life throughout our mobile app. You will drive the evolution of our design language and strengthen our human-centered design practice. You will work across the organization to elevate our product experiences and ensure that they are accessible to diverse populations. You will champion consistency, quality, and inclusivity, while inspiring the Design team to innovate and think big.

What You'll Accomplish

  1. Up-level our design system, with attention to visual polish, motion, and the details that matter
  2. Move our human-centered design practice forward by incorporating user insights and best practices that expand our reach
  3. Foster collaboration and partnership across teams and product surfaces
  4. Develop a roadmap that prioritizes impact
  5. Ultimately be an essential partner in delivering our best product

Hinge Health Hybrid Model

We believe that remote work and in-person work have their own advantages and disadvantages, and we want to be able to leverage the best of both worlds. Employees in hybrid roles are required to be in the office 3 days/week.

Basic Qualifications

  1. 8+ years of experience as a product designer working on a cross-functional team releasing products and features
  2. Expertise building and shipping design systems supporting several product teams

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Strength in both visual and interaction design, with attention to detail
  2. A systems thinker, who can ensure that the parts come together as a greater whole
  3. Ability to quickly make informed decisions and move with urgency
  4. Strong communicator and collaborator, with a track record for generating visibility and cultivating partnerships
  5. A team player invested in fostering belonging on the team and throughout the org

Compensation
This position will have an annual salary, plus equity and benefits. Please note the annual salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. The annual salary range for this position is $172,000 - $258,000.
