MasayaCo is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Photo Editor to join our team.
As a member of our Imagery team, your responsibilities will include:
Editing high-quality images, including curating and retouching photographs received from the photographer. This involves handling lifestyle images and studio shots in RAW and JPG format, ensuring color correction and consistency with real products.
Professionally replacing product backgrounds with solid colors while preserving original shadows.
Renaming and resizing files appropriately for various purposes such as listings and content, and uploading them to our company's shared data environment.
Maintaining meticulous organization of files and product tracking.
Facilitating communication and collaboration between departments, ensuring timely delivery of product images.
Maintaining open communication channels and a positive attitude throughout the process.
The ideal candidate should be a detail-oriented perfectionist who ensures top-quality images. Strong communication skills are a must, with a focus on following up on every detail. Physical presence at our facilities is required for this position.
Key Responsibilities
Photo Edition:
Performing high-end retouching and color correction on furniture photos.
Product background replacement while preserving original shadows.
Manipulating textures and colors.
Resizing and renaming files.
Uploading finalized product images to our CDE.
On-site Presence:
Be physically present at our offices in Managua for daily operations and team collaboration.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven expertise in Adobe Photoshop.
Experience using DaVinci and Resolve for video editing.
Mac OS user.
Proficient command of the English language, both written and verbal.
Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively.
Strong understanding of color correction, retouching techniques, and image manipulation.
Knowledge of composition, lighting and visual aesthetics to enhance photos correctly.
Attention to detail and a keen eye for spotting imperfections or inconsistencies in photos.
Highly motivated, and driven to achieve targets.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills.
Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs and priorities.
