Job Description:
The Proposal Writer will work with the Marketing & Estimating Departments to develop and write technical proposals in response to RFQs, RFPs and SOQs. The Proposal Writer will ensure on-time delivery of compelling, compliant, and well-written responses. The Proposal Writer should exhibit strong writing skills, organization skills, an understanding of construction disciplines, and a good eye for graphic design.

•You have a bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field
•You have three (3) years of Federal proposal writing experience or more than five (5)years of proposal writing for A/E/C firms.
•You have excellent interpersonal communication skills and it is evident throughout discussions, emails, texts, as well as phone calls.
•You are proficient in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office Suite
•You can pass a federal background check.
Responsibilities:
•Partner with the Marketing Department to keep the IFB/RFP planner up to date
•Review and analyze the RFP/RFQ/SOQs to create proposal outlines, compliance matrices, proposal production schedule, kick-off meeting materials, or other required proposal development artifacts
•Analyze stakeholder needs and write responsive, compliant, compelling responses.
•Collaborate with team members to gather information and write it in a clear and compelling way
•Facilitate and communicate proposal requirements to subcontractor partners and SMEs
•Use information provided by SMEs to write management & technical approaches for Scope of Work defined in RFP/RFQ/SOQs
•Support the development of standard proposal sections such as management plans, past performance, or resumes
•Monitor proposal content to ensure compliance to RFP requirements, evaluation criteria and technical requirements
•Manage time appropriately to meet deadlines
•Develop content with supporting call out graphics and revise content based on feedback and reviews
•Participate in regular proposal progress status meetings with Marketing and Estimating Departments.
•Perform white glove review and final proposal production for hard/soft copy submission.
Qualifications and Required Skills
•Bachelor's degree
•Minimum of three (3) years of Federal proposal writing experience or more than five (5)years of proposal writing experience for A/E/C firms required
(must submit 3 writing samples)
•Must be able to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
•Proven ability to create and write compelling content.
•Adobe Creative Suite
•Microsoft Office Suite
•Must be able to pass a federal background check.
