What Will I be Doing?


The Manager, Account Management leads and stewards creative projects from inception to delivery in support of Hilton Grand Vacations’ business objectives. This position supervises a portfolio of clients and surpasses all client expectations with a customer first mind-set and solutions orientation in undefined territory. The focus and skills required for each project vary from strategic to executional activities, and the Manager, Account Management will flex accordingly in close support of the Director, Brand & Account Strategy to develop and cultivate client relationships, while aspiring for flawless execution and project management of day-to-day projects.


You are responsible for driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:



  • Project Management: manage and track multiple creative jobs with minimal supervision, a high sense of urgency in monitoring day-to-day project activities, tracking changes and scheduling brainstorms/creative reviews. Oversee projects through the creative development process, from kick-off through concept inception to production to final asset delivery. Determine proper documentation, resources, scheduling, and project objectives are in place. Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet business objectives. Projects can vary from digital, print, broadcast (ex: display ads, landing pages, website updates, e-mail, social media campaigns, direct mail, weekly ads, magazine ads, TV, radio) to multi-channel marketing campaigns.

  • Client Management: builds rapport and credibility with partners from other departments to comfortably engage in frequent contact and build strong relationships. Ability to translate requests into actionable project plans. Proactively organize information quickly and at a high level to address bottlenecks and define the best way forward. Frequently communicate progress of jobs and lead meetings with partners as needed. Liaises with, and acts as the link between, the client and the content and creative studio by maintaining regular contact with both, ensuring that communication flows effectively;

  • Risk Analysis: identify potential roadblocks related to resources and timelines and raise potential issues when necessary. Mitigate risks on projects. Manage resources and logistics plus partner with various internal teams. Engage in contingency planning and proactively engage in problem-solving.

  • Creative Competence and Excellence: passionate about the creative process. Leverage critical thinking to connect across creative projects. Work with Creative Director, Designers and Copywriters to define workflow that best elevates creative thinking.

  • Collaboration: communicate directly and consistently with other Creative Account Managers to ensure harmony between all advertising efforts. Provide personal leadership and a collaborative atmosphere conducive to the motivation, development, and administrative management of the creative team.




Qualifications

To fulfill this role successfully, the individual should possess the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience:



  • 5-8 years in account management or project management roles with an agency or in-house creative team

  • Proven track record in client and account management by delivering results through management of execution on strategic plans

  • Knowledge of general advertising/marketing

  • Strong presentation skills and ability to influence customers

  • Strong experience in project management, encompassing small-scale projects to multi-tiered campaign projects involving multiple collaborators and components

  • Skilled using MS Office applications. Will have experience managing projects in a project management software tool such as Workfront. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud
