Position Overview:
The Account Media Specialist role is split between client interaction and media buying, with responsibilities that include overseeing advertising initiatives, managing paid media placement, and coordinating with clients on project progress. This position requires a unique blend of interpersonal skills and technical media buying expertise, especially on social and programmatic digital platforms. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and confident in handling both client relationships and budget management.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Management & Project Coordination (50%)
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
- Oversee a variety of advertising projects, coordinating timelines, deliverables, and client approvals.
- Participate in and facilitate client meetings, providing updates on project progress and media performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align client objectives with media strategy.
Media Planning & Buying (50%)
- Develop and execute media plans with a focus on paid social media and programmatic digital buys.
- Manage traditional media placements as needed.
- Place and optimize paid media buys across major social platforms.
- Oversee media budgets, ensuring efficient and effective spend with a minimum of $100,000 in media management experience.
- Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis, budgeting, and performance tracking.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in an account management or media buying role, preferably in an agency setting.
- Proven expertise in media buying on social platforms and experience with programmatic digital media.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to manage media budgets over $100,000.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
- Ability to thrive in a small, collaborative work environment.

Location & Work Arrangement:
This position is based in our Downtown Memphis office with some flexibility for remote work. Full remote work is not available, and candidates must be able to attend in-person client meetings as required.
