Production Artist / Graphic Design

Production Artist / Graphic Design Responsibilities:
The Production Artist plays a crucial role in supporting our design teams by contributing to the production of graphic materials, packaging, displays, advertising projects, and more. Collaboration with external graphic designers may be necessary to format artwork, ensuring print quality standards are met. The role involves collecting, processing, and organizing files, requiring a keen eye for detail and technical proficiency. Proficiency in design programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign is essential, and experience in print production software/technology is a plus. Strong layout skills, organizational abilities, and excellent file-categorizing prowess are necessary to ensure artwork is production-ready and projects are completed on time.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Collaborate with Sales Representatives, Structural Designers, and Customers to develop creative solutions.
· Interact with customers to determine packaging design/display needs.
· Manipulate existing or supplied artwork to fit within project guidelines.
· Work with various mixed-medium materials to provide innovative solutions.
· Design and produce new artwork for POP Displays.
· Prepare files for color mock-ups and production.
· Maintain project records, file structure, and adherence to company policy.
· Monitor and follow guidelines for creative quality control procedures.
· Promptly communicate all direct customer feedback.
· Counsel Sales and Customers on design needs for their product.
· Proactively provide creative solution suggestions.
· Maintain and manage effective time management schedules.
· Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
· 2 + years of Graphic Design experience
· Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
· Comfortable working through final mechanicals

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Physical Demands
The nature of this position requires the employee to engage in various physical activities on a regular basis. The employee is expected to:

· Lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Specific vision abilities essential for this role include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
The work environment for this position involves certain conditions that employees should be aware of:
· Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts is expected during the performance of duties.
· Occasional exposure to high and precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration may be encountered.
· The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud.
