About the Team
You will be part of the Digital Asset Production team who is responsible for the creation of high fidelity base digital components (assets & textures) as well as the combination of these components in a streamlined and automated way to output scalable photorealistic visual content to be used on brand eCommerce sites and visual/design experiences.
About the Role
As a Digital Modeling Artist - 3D you will work collaboratively with the Digital Asset Production team and create core 3D base models and digital textures for product assortment across WSI brands based on 3D/digital scan and other visual references.
Responsibilities
Creates high fidelity content (assets/textures)
Communicates reference/data discrepancies to the project Lead
Utilizes efficient production techniques
Participates in weekly project status meetings
Supports across projects (as needed)
Accurately communicates time spent on deliverables
Works on projects involving organic and hard surface products
Exercises judgment to utilize production techniques (varying per situation)
Proactively communicates potential issues and deliverable delays
Criteria Proficient using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets Strong verbal and written presentation skills including the ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple way and to tailor key messages and presentation style to multiple audiences Attention to detail and organizational skills to adapt to changing project priorities Recommended 1-2 years of experience using domain specific tools (3D creation/rendering software such as Blender, Maya, Photoshop, etc.) Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of work or equivalent work experience Typically requires a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience. This role requires being onsite in the San Jose office Monday through Thursday and Friday as optional in the office
