Job Title: Audio Visual Streaming Technician Assistant
Summary:
The Streaming Video and Audio Technician is a crucial role responsible for the efficient
operation, maintenance, and repair of audio and video equipment for both live events and
streaming productions. This role involves setting up and dismantling equipment, troubleshooting.
technical issues and providing support to clients on desktop software and hardware matters.
The technician will also contribute to the enhancement of live stream experiences through.
camera operation, sound board management, and other audio-visual tasks. Knowledge of
software applications and network protocols are essential to ensure seamless streaming and
production workflows.
Roles/Responsibilities:
•Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair audiovisual equipment for meetings and
streaming productions.
•Monitor and troubleshoot stream quality during live production.
•Operate sound boards, video switchers, cameras, and mixers effectively.
•Demonstrate proficiency in Audio-Visual software and knowledge of signal flow and
network protocols.
•Provide camera-switching services for live-streaming end-users.
•Prepare graphics to enhance the live stream experience.
•Ensure consistent production quality for streaming services and zoom
•Set up and take down audio and video equipment for live events and streaming
•Maintain inventory of audio and video equipment.
•Order new equipment and supplies as needed.
•Stay updated on the latest Audio-Visual Technology.
•Demonstrate a keen eye for image and sound quality, coupled with excellent
interpersonal skills for interactions with senior-level executives.
•Be prepared for occasional after-hours work.
•Undertake other duties as assigned.
•Offer support to clients on desktop software and hardware issues during non-streaming
activities
Knowledge and skill Requirements
•High school diploma or equivalent.
•5+ years of experience in audio/video production.
•Strong understanding of audio and video equipment.
•Excellent troubleshooting skills.
•Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when dealing with high-level executives.
•Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
•DANTE Level III (preferred but not required)
•CTS (preferred but not required)
Working conditions:
•Office environment with potential frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and prolonged sitting or standing.
•May involve lifting of equipment.
•Some local travel may be required, necessitating a valid State of Georgia driver's license and full insurability for inclusion on the company's "Authorized Drivers List." Authorized Driver or Assigned Vehicle.
