Job Description:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Webex Audio Video Engineer with a strong background in the installation, de-installation, and configuration of Webex AV systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Webex devices such as the Webex Codec EQ, Cisco Table Microphones, Webex Room Bar, Desk Pro Codec, and Multisite License. This role involves ensuring optimal performance and seamless operation of video conferencing solutions across diverse environments, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support.Key Responsibilities:Lead the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Webex devices, including but not limited to Webex Codec EQ, Cisco Table Microphones, Webex Room Bar, Desk Pro Codec, and Multisite License.Perform deinstallation and relocation of AV systems as required for office moves or upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.Provide technical expertise and support for Webex AV solutions, resolving issues related to connectivity, audio/video quality, and system integration.Collaborate with IT and network teams to integrate AV systems into the enterprise network and ensure consistent performance.Conduct site assessments and develop AV system deployment plans tailored to the specific needs of the organization.Manage firmware updates, patches, and upgrades for Webex devices and related components.Develop and maintain detailed documentation for AV installations, configurations, and standard operating procedures.Provide end-user training and support, ensuring effective utilization of Webex systems for meetings and events.Monitor system performance, perform routine maintenance, and respond proactively to potential issues to minimize downtime.Work closely with vendors and suppliers for the procurement, servicing, and support of AV equipment.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).years of experience in AV engineering, with a focus on Webex video conferencing systems.Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Webex devices, including Webex Codec EQ, Cisco Table Microphones, Webex Room Bar, Desk Pro Codec, and Multisite License.Strong knowledge of network protocols and connectivity (TCP/IP, SIP, H.323) relevant to AV systems.Experience with AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron, AMX) and integration into broader IT infrastructure.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure to resolve technical issues promptly.Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Relevant certifications, such as Cisco Webex Certification, CCNA, or AVIXA CTS, are highly desirable.Preferred Experience:Experience in enterprise environments, managing large-scale deployments of AV systems.Familiarity with other video conferencing platforms like MS Teams, and Zoom, and integration with Webex systems.Knowledge of scripting and automation for AV system management is a plus.
