Job Summary:
As a Senior Systems Engineer specializing in Enterprise Content Management (ECM), you will play a key role in providing complex operational support and troubleshooting for ECM platforms, including IBM FileNet, OpenText Documentum, Nuxeo, or similar solutions. You will also be pivotal in the migration and modernization efforts to cloud-native, scalable ECM systems, ensuring optimal platform performance and supporting the business's broader digital transformation goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert-level support for ECM platforms, including IBM FileNet, OpenText Documentum, Nuxeo, and associated infrastructure.
Monitor, maintain, and update ECM systems to ensure smooth operation.
Lead the migration of ECM platforms, including Documentum/FileNet to Nuxeo SaaS environments.
Collaborate with management, delivery teams, and other IT partners to ensure smooth and efficient platform changes and integrations.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with ECM systems, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Create and maintain shell scripts for automation of systems tasks and other administration tasks.
Participate in on-call support and maintenance activities as needed to ensure continuous service delivery.
Ensure system scalability, security, and performance in a cloud-native environment.
Participate in the change management process and ensure best practices in systems upgrades and maintenance.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
At least 8+ years of experience with IBM FileNet, OpenText Documentum, Nuxeo, or other similar ECM platforms.
5+ years of direct experience in the administration and support of ECM systems.
Strong hands-on experience with ECM platform configuration, installation, and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in scripting (Java/Shell/PowerShell) for system automation tasks.
Experience in upgrading and migrating ECM systems.
Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical issues and ensure system stability.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a highly matrixed environment with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud-native SaaS environments, specifically in migrating ECM platforms to the cloud.
Experience with Tomcat/TCServer administration on both Linux and Windows platforms.
Experience with migration tools for ECM platforms.
Knowledge of modern ECM solutions and their application within enterprise systems.
Certifications (if any): Any relevant certifications in ECM systems (e.g., IBM FileNet, OpenText Documentum, Nuxeo, etc.) would be a plus.
ITIL or other IT service management certifications are a plus.
